Konica Minolta Announces Release of Extreme Digital Designer’s Guide to Showcase Digital Printing and Finishing Technologies
Game-Changing Advancements in Digital Technology Expands the Scope of What is Possible for Designers
MISSISSAUGA, ON. (October 1, 2018) – Konica Minolta Business Solutions (Canada) Ltd. (Konica Minolta), a leader in the Graphic Communications Industry, is pleased to announce the release of its new Extreme Digital Designer’s Guide, to be revealed at Konica Minolta Canada’s cocktail event during this month’s Print18 conference in Chicago, Illinois.
Extreme Digital Designer’s Guide
Game-Changing Advancements in Digital Technology
Expands the Scope of What is Possible for Designers
The Guide showcases a range of digital printing applications, including texturized foil and varnish printing, various paper stock and substrate printing applications, embossed labels and invitations, authenticated holographic digital printing, banner production, and more. The designs included in the Guide have all been printed on Konica Minolta’s line of production and industrial printing devices, including finished material from its AccurioPress series, its MGI iFOIL series, and the KM-1 Inkjet press. Serving as a high-level overview of what is possible with Konica Minolta’s suite of digital printing products, the Designer’s Guide will be available for order starting in October.
“We wanted the Designer’s Guide to inspire and challenge designers to think outside the box when it comes to designing for digital,” said Norm Bussolaro, Sr. Director of Marketing, Konica Minolta Business Solutions (Canada) Ltd. “The exceptional quality of the pieces in the Designer’s Guide, coupled with the range of digital finishing options on display, are indicative of the leaps and bounds that Konica Minolta has made with its technology in recent years. We hope that this Guide will serve to further educate designers about our expanded digital capabilities, and ultimately drive more volume to our Graphic Communications customers.”
Traditional analogue printing methods, such as offset printing, have long been the industry standard despite the relatively high costs, and skilled labour requirements associated with their use. Advances in digital printing technology have revolutionized production printing however, and thanks to innovative industry leaders like Konica Minolta, customers can now produce high- quality short to medium print runs at an affordable price.
PowerUP Business Builder Marketing Program
A custom-tailored service designed and
delivered by print industry marketing experts.
The Designer’s Guide represents another concerted effort by Konica Minolta to help drive volume to its customers. Earlier this year, Konica Minolta launched the PowerUP Business Builder Marketing Program, a custom-tailored service designed and delivered by print industry marketing experts to help clients quickly build awareness and accelerate adoption of their new capabilities. Together, the production and release of the Designer’s Guide and launch of the PowerUP programs are emblematic of Konica Minolta’s ongoing commitment to its industrial and production print customers.
The Extreme Digital Designer’s Guide will be made available for order to designers, industry professionals and Konica Minolta clients this October. Interested parties should contact their local account representative for more information.
Bussolaro adds, “I have the honour of presenting the Designer’s Guide to industry professionals and I think a lot of people are going to be impressed with what we’ve created, and with the capabilities of Konica Minolta’s digital printers. You really have to see - and feel it - to believe it.”
