
Enterprise Solutions, Project Manager
POSITION PROFILE
The focus of this position is to deliver on the project implementations for the Enterprise Print Services Program to our enterprise customers. Responsible for the project planning, resources scheduling, project execution, controlling, and project closure to ensure a complete and successful solution is implemented.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produces a project plan of all phases, activities, and tasks necessary for executing a successful project that is within scope, time and cost
- Develops, and gets the approval of the client, the project scope which describes how the project will be completed
- Develops, coordinates and is the lead on all project communications planning that provides for good stakeholder communications, reporting and management updates
- Develops and manages the projects change control procedures and effectively utilizes all available methodologies and tools to ensure success of the project
- Manages all team personnel and resources (internal and external) ensuring projects meet established time, cost and technical objectives
- Provides a risk assessment that ensures minimized risk to client and project during all phases of the implementation
- At the conclusion of the project, provides for complete documentation, which can be used for asset management, client administrative documentation, project lessons learned and all details required to make the client a reference account
- Procurement management to acquire the goods and services from the internal DC, 3rd parties, and other agencies to meet project completion
- Project Quality Assurance ensuring that the products, services and implementation provided will satisfy the needs of the project goal and plan
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in an operations environment
- Strong organizational skills required to manage a complex project.
- “People Skills” required in managing a complex project and ensures the cooperation and support to successfully manage a project
- Presentations skills (customer facing)
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Technical Awareness within the Office Equipment environment
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visio used as standard PM tools in managing a project.
EDUCATION
- University degree required. Related business and technology certification is a plus
- Project Management Institute (PMI) membership and PMP certification is desired
